Parish Mental Health

Most pastors are stretched with mental health care…

In a day and age filled with anxiety and despair, mental health has never been a bigger societal issue. Insurance is in it for the almighty dollar, but not all can get the help they need - and too often, those who can least afford mental health care need it the most.

We know your heart to care for your parishioners, we also know how much more you have on your plate. So Gracefall has designed a program that helps you care for your most broken and needy. In Washington State, Gracefall will provide Licensed Mental Health services to parishioners. In other states, Gracefall provides “pastoral'' counseling to parishioners via video conferencing and through regular onsite visits.

Two Options

Option 1

The church pays a retainer of $1800 per month to Gracefall, and Gracefall provides care for up to 6 parishioners per week. Parishioners pay co-pays of $5 - $25  (depending on need), or, if they can’t afford the co-pay, give 2 volunteer hours to a local charity per session.

Option 2

The church agrees to reimburse Gracefall at a rate of $75 per session (regular rate $150). Parishioners pay co-pays of $5 - $25 (depending on need), or 2 volunteer hours to a local charity per session.

In addition, for either of the options above, if you are within the Metro-Portland/Vancouver Area, Stephen will travel on sight up to 4 times per year to meet with clients. Church will pay travel costs.
