It’s easy in our frenzied world to get off-kilter, to feel overwhelmed and to need some quieter, peaceful places to relax and recenter our bodies, minds, souls and emotions. Whether you join us for a personal retreat, a marriage intensive, to spend part of your Sabbatical, take a “Soulcation” and/or utilize the space for a small group retreat, we welcome you to enjoy some unforced rhythms of Grace.
It is Well - A place of peace
With a private entrance* 2br/1 bath apartment (1 King and 1 Full bed) and a private deck overlooking a green space with a walking trail, you can sleep, walk, sit, journal, saunter, linger and frolic to your heart’s content. You’ll also have access to an outdoor fire pit and hot tub.
Slow Down
What if you recharged your soul with the same consistency as you do your smart phone?
There’s no hurry here - just a slow spaciousness for which your soul craves.
Cozy Living Space
With a view out toward Dancing Trees and your own private deck. WiFi, ductless heating/cooling, this is a great place to curl up with a book or take a nap, or gather with friends.
Kitchen
Fridge, dishwasher, micro/convection, induction hot plate, outdoor grill, filtered water, coffee maker, electric kettle, tea/coffee, light breakfast items for your first day. Bring your own food.
Large Private Deck
On a greenspace - With access to fire pit, hot tub, and path down to walking trail below.
Nearby Attractions
La Center Bottoms Wetlands, Ridgefield Natural Wildlife Refuge, Ilani Casino, Sunlight Amphitheatre (concerts!) and fairgrounds.
As a non-profit, when we arrange your reservation, we’ll send you an invitation via email with the dates and details of your stay, including directions to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the space. We will also send directions, house rules, and cancellation policies.
Below are our suggested donations for enjoying this space.
1st night - $90
All subsequent nights - $70/night
ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE $60/stay (whether 1 night or more).
Additional Optional Costs: We offer discounts off our normal rates for Spiritual Direction with Paula and/or Therapy with Stephen. We are also happy to schedule couple intensive weekends for those who want some help navigating the Crap and Glory of being in relationship.
*ALSO PLEASE NOTE: We do have pets on the property - but they are not in your space. If you’d like to bring a dog, just email us and we’ll talk. Our yard is a work in progress. So from time to time you’ll hear us taking care of the grounds, but we’ll try to not interrupt your stay too much. We live in a quiet-ish culdesac with summer sounds of kids playing ball in the park across the canyon. We live upstairs so some normal sounds of walking, daily living, and kitty frolicking will be present. We’re available to connect with you if you need, but happy to leave you alone as well. Also, you need to be able to walk a staircase to reach the space. We do have a chair lift in our space if stairs are difficult. Just inquire and we’ll work something out.
